Records of the City of Saratoga building permit archives are stored on microfiche. The Building Division maintains a copier to provide these documents as public information.

NOTE: Only permit records and associated construction documents are available for copying. State of California copyright laws do not allow for any construction plans to be copied without written approval from the original architect/designer and the owner of the property. Public viewing of microfiche files will be available upon special request or by appointment.

I understand that a charge of 20 cents per copy will be assessed for each page copied, plus a $20 research fee if determined to be necessary by staff due to a large volume of materials requested. I understand I will be notified when records are available for pickup.
