Commission Profile
The Youth Commission is comprised of middle and high school students appointed by the City Council in two-year terms. Youth Commissioners serve as a liaison between the teen community and the City Council.
Current activities may be listed in the Recreation Department's Activity Guide. Be sure to visit saratogateen (currently under construction; new site will be up soon!) for more information!
Meeting Schedule
Next meeting: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, 13777 Fruitvale Ave. Saratoga.
Meetings are normally held monthly on the second Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga. See the Agendas and Minutes from past Youth Commission meetings here.
Commission Goals
The Youth Commissioners serve as teen leaders in the community; communicating youth issues to the City Council; planning, promoting & participating in community service,educational & fun activities for Saratoga youth.
