The Recreation & Facilities Department staff provides quality programs through Accountability, Superior Customer Service, Teamwork, Innovation, Open Communication, and a Nurturing Work Environment.
The Recreation Department has responsibility for the following functions:
Relating to all management of classes, trips, youth theater programs, preschool, youth & teen summer & winter camps; youth & adult sports; civic theater administration including event scheduling and development of improvements funded through the $1 per ticket surcharge
Including the programming of dances, trips, camps, special events, fundraising, concerts, and administering the Youth Commission.
Relating to management, rental and scheduling use of the Community Center, Civic Theatre, Warner Hutton House, Senior Center; parks and picnic areas, fixed asset maintenance and replacement, and building maintenance.
