Leadership-In-Training Ages 13-16

The Leadership-In-Training (LIT) program is intended for mature and enthusiastic teens who are interested in working with children and looking to develop their leadership skills.  This weeklong training will consist of fundamentals and techniques needed to be a productive leader/role model.  Highlights include learning how to teach arts & crafts, songs & games, enrichment & experiments, CPR certification, interview preparation, and how to present themselves professionally.  These program provides an excellent foundation in developing supervision skills, responsibility, & self-esteem.  A group field trip to Raging Waters will take place on Friday!  Based on availability, all students who sign up for this program and complete training, are guaranteed volunteer hours at the in-house summer camp programs.  LIT’s must attend all 5 days of program to be eligible for volunteer hours.  Sign up early as there are only 18 spots available. Please note that program starts at 8:30am on Tuesday!
