About Council Member Miller:
Council Member Howard Miller was elected to the Saratoga City Council by voters in 2008 and reelected in 2012 and 2016. He also served as Saratoga's Mayor in 2011 and 2015. Council Member Miller works as a Senior Engineering Manager for Apple, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Cal Poly and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford.
Council Member Miller moved to Saratoga in 1994 to raise his children, four of whom graduated from Saratoga High School and went on to earn four Bachelors and three Masters college degrees. His fifth child is currently attending Saratoga High School. Council Member Miller and his wife Sandy have been long-time volunteers supporting the youth of Saratoga. Prior to holding public office, Council Member Miller was an Assistant Scout Master and ran a local soccer league that serves more than 1,200 kids per year.
