Celebration of Congress Springs Quarry Acquisition - Nov. 5

Please join the City of Saratoga on November 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at  Congress Springs Quarry to celebrate the acquisition of this property. The City has been working with the County of Santa Clara and the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District for the past few years to purchase this section of property, located off of Congress Springs Road/Highway 9 near Hakone Gardens. By purchasing the property, which is strategically located near existing and proposed trail systems, the City will be one step closer to constructing the Saratoga-to-the-Sea Trail.

Please be advised that the designated parking area is approximately half a mile from the event location. The hike to the event location is a little rough - hiking shoes and comfortable attire are highly recommended. The quarry entrance, parking area, and pathway to the event location will be clearly marked.
