Are there classes I can't sign up for using online registration?
Yes. You cannot sign up for drop-in programs, Jacki Sorensen Aerobic Dance & Step classes, Jazzercise classes, Saratoga Community Preschool, or any programs in the activity guide that are paid advertisements. Detailed information for registering for all of these programs may be found in the Recreation Activity Guide.
How do I know that my registration is successful?
Your registration is successful if you get to the page which prints a receipt. You must print your receipt. The printed receipt is your confirmation that the transaction was completed successfully and the status is ENROLLED or WAIT LIST. If you cannot print a receipt, it is possible your registration was not processed. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 408.868.1248 to confirm your registration.
There are people listed in my household within RecTrac that I don't recognize. What should I do?

What is the Refund/Transfer policy?
In the event a participant chooses to withdraw from an activity, transfers or refunds will be granted according to the following criteria:
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS FOR CLASSES – With a ONE WEEK notice before a class begins, you may request & receive a refund, less a $15 processing fee per person for each activity. If you are unhappy with a class that you have attended, let us know right away. If you have attended the first two classes & we cannot resolve your concerns, we will send you a refund, less a $15 processing fee per person for each activity. If you choose to transfer (must be within the quarter), the full amount of your enrollment fee will apply to any course you select. Refunds or transfers are not available once the class or program has met three times.
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS FOR CAMPS – With more than 14 days notice, refund of camp fee less a $15 process fee plus 20% of the camp fee per person for each activity. You may transfer to another camp within the season and the full amount of your enrollment fee will apply to any camp you select. Refunds do not apply to City-coordinated camps.

NO REFUNDS or TRANSFERS for Trips or City-conducted camps. Please be sure of your selection. If the trip or City-conducted camp is canceled by the Recreation Department, you will receive a full refund or you can request to transfer to another activity. For a trip, if a waiting list exists, you may receive a refund, minus a $15 processing fee.
Why can't I enroll a child that is "almost" the correct age for a class?
Classes are designed for certain ages or grades to ensure the best experience for the children in the class. The age calculation for a class is based on the birth date of the participant and the last day of the class. Individual instructors may consider special circumstances if there are openings in a class. Please email the Recreation office firstname.lastname@example.org or call 408.868.1249 to be considered.
