Each year, the City of Saratoga adopts an Operating Budget and an annual budget update to the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. The budgets serve as the City’s financial plan, as well as a policy document, a communication tool, and an operations guide. Developed with an emphasis on long-range planning, service delivery, and program management, the budgets’ fundamental purpose is to provide a linkage between the services and projects the City delivers, and resources committed to getting the work done.
The City of Saratoga’s Operating and Capital Summary Budget documents provide general community and city information, departmental overviews, program level service and budget information, and summary level overviews of the Capital Improvement Plan.
