Public Works
The Public Works Department provides many of the City's services that maintain the rural quality of neighborhoods and business community for which Saratoga is known.
The Public Works Department oversees 3 divisions:
- Engineering: Reviews capital projects and the public's development plans for engineering and geological oversight, and ensures the City's environmental responsibilities are fulfilled
- Streets: Maintains the roadway systems, including streets, signals, lighting, and storm drains
- Parks: Maintains the City's parks, trails, medians, rights-of-way, landscape districts, and City Hall landscaping

Bids & RFPs
The Public Works Department issues a number of bids and requests for proposals (RFPs) seeking qualified contractors and vendors for various projects. Check the Bids and RFPs page for more information.
Storm Information
Sandbags are available during the rainy season 24 hours per day at 19700 Allendale Avenue. There is a limit of 25 bags per person and you must fill them yourself. For more information call 408.868.1245.
