This is an initial CERT actions review and skills application class. Skills for this CERT Refresher will focus on the CERT member's ability to:

·         Organize team mobilization

·         Establish a plan

·         Establish a Medical Treatment Area staffed with a Manager

·         Conduct medical treatment under simulated disaster conditions

·         Provide appropriate treatment and reassess regularly

·         Provide treatment area manager with updated reports on the victim

Important Items to Bring:

·         Your CERT ID Badge/Card or Photo ID

·         Personal Protective Equipment

·         Flashlight or hardhat headlamp

·         CERT Field Operations Guide (provided in class if you do not have one)

This training class is open to CERT members who live or work within the communities served by Santa Clara County Fire Department: Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos/Monte Sereno, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Saratoga and the unincorporated surrounding areas.
