Santa Clara County Fire Department, in partnership with Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, will present two Wildfire Preparedness Community Meetings in Saratoga on Thursday, April 18 and Thursday, May 30. Both meetings will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Joan Pisani Community Center, 19655 Allendale Avenue. These free workshops will teach you how to reduce wildfire risk and to better prepare your family and your home through the techniques of Ready, Set, Go:
- Ready: Take steps in and around home that will slow or stop the spread of wildfire, and increase the chances of your home surviving a wildfire.
- Set: Prepare your family’s action plan to help you survive wildfires and other disasters, be ready to evacuation, and have a family communication plan.
- Go: Stay informed of emergency situations, and make your family’s evacuation plan to have the best chance of survival in a wildfire.
