Housing Element Meeting this Monday!

To comply with the state-required Housing Element Update, the City Council is now deciding where future housing could be built. Please visit www.saratoga.ca.us/housing to review tentative housing opportunity sites, along with housing policies and programs, then provide your input to the City Council. Impacts of allowing housing to be built at these locations, including traffic, will be studied in an Environmental Impact Report.

The City Council will hold a Special Meeting this Monday, January 10 at 6:00 p.m. to review these tentative opportunity sites and discuss housing policies. You can join the meeting using Zoom or by calling in:

Martin Luther King Jr. Event on January 15

Join West Valley College and the Saratoga Ministerial Association for an event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. The event will begin at City Hall with guest speakers. Then, attendees will march down Fruitvale Avenue to West Valley College where the celebration will continue with more guest speakers and local, black-owned businesses.

Save the Date: City Council Retreat

The City Council will hold its annual retreat virtually on Friday, January 28 at 8:30 a.m. During this full-day session, the Council will discuss collective goals and priorities for the year, along with various topics of interest. Stay tuned for the meeting agenda and virtual meeting access information.

Traffic Safety Commission: 2 full terms and one partial term
Planning Commission: 2 full terms
