Free COVID-19 Testing

BigBang Artwork will offer free drive through COVID-19 testing on April 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saratoga Prospect Center, 19848 Prospect Road. The PCR test results are typically available in 24 to 48 hours. One free N95 mask per visitor will also be supplied. Schedule a required appointment online.

The County will also hold a COVID-19 testing day on Tuesday, April 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Saratoga Prospect Center in Friendship Hall. Testing is free and open to the public. This site offers PCR molecular testing with results usually available within 24 to 36 hours. Schedule an appointment online.

Wildfire Preparedness Webinars

Learn how to reduce wildfire risk and better prepare your family and your home with a series of free webinars from Santa Clara County Fire Department. The webinars will cover how to evacuate safely, what to do if you are “dropped” by your insurer, and cost effective measures to improve your home’s fire resistance. ARTbor Day Contest Submissions Extended

There's four more days to submit your Arbor Day-inspired art! Submit art inspired by Arbor Day by Sunday, April 24 for the chance to win a prize. Selected winners will receive their prizes at the Arbor Day Celebration on Wednesday, April 27 at Kevin Moran Park at 4:00 p.m. Arbor Day attendees will receive refreshments, compost, resources, and free flower seeds and oak tree seedlings to plant at home. Share Your Feedback on Traffic Safety

Please review proposed traffic safety improvements for neighborhoods across Saratoga included in the Safe Routes to School Master Plan, then submit your feedback to the Traffic Safety Commission. The goal of Safe Routes to School is to create safe travel opportunities for children to walk or bike to school and for all community members to walk or bike around their neighborhoods. Make it to Muko! Walking Activity

The Youth Commission invites you to participate in Make it to Muko! This month-long step challenge encourages community members to track and submit their weekly step counts throughout May 2022. All participants' steps will contribute to the cumulative goal of 12,150,000 steps. This represents how many steps it would take to reach Saratoga's Sister City in Muko, Japan, which is about 5,400 miles away.

Register online for $10 per person by April 30 to collect specially designed pins that represent each check point along the way to Muko. More details will be emailed to registered participants as we approach May 1. Registered participants will receive weekly emails in May including updates, highlights, and any new information. Additionally, we will continually update this page to show our progress towards making it to Muko.

Saratoga’s Youth Commission is hosting a free event to help their middle school or high school peers de-stress on Sunday, May 15 at the Cupertino Civic Center from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students can register online and look forward to games, resource booths, prizes, and more. This event is in collaboration with the City of Campbell and City of Cupertino.
