Construction Updates
The residential phase of the Quito Village project will begin this week starting with demolition of building 1 (as shown in the image below) in the southwest corner behind the homes on Devon Avenue. The demolition work will take approximately 2-3 weeks and will be followed by demolition of building 2B along Paseo Presada. Building 2A, which houses Starbucks and the Vision Center, will remain until the new commercial building is completed so businesses can relocate with minimal disruption.
Once demolition is complete, grading and site work will begin. This involves earth-moving, hauling away excess dirt, cutting future streets, and building pads. This stage of construction should last a few weeks before work transitions to installing the new sewer, storm drain, water, and electrical systems for the residential buildings.
