The December 7 City Council meeting agenda is available online at www.saratoga.ca.us/agenda. Members of the public and City Council can participate in person or via Zoom. Housing Element Update

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) conducted its preliminary review and provided feedback on the initial draft of Saratoga's 2023-2031 Housing Element. At the City Council meeting on December 7, the Council will review draft responses to HCD's comments. These responses detail the changes that will be implemented in the draft Housing Element. View the responses and other Housing Element materials on the meeting agenda and share your feedback at the meeting in person or via Zoom. You can also submit written comments to the Council before the meeting.

City Council Reorganization

The City Council Reorganization will be held on December 13 at 7:00 PM in the Civic Theater. At the Reorganization, the outgoing City Council Members, Mayor, and Vice Mayor will be thanked for their service, newly elected members of the City Council will be sworn into office, and a new Mayor and Vice Mayor will be selected. The community can join in person or via Zoom.

Celebration of Light

The Celebration of Light will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 5:30 PM in Blaney Plaza. Join the Saratoga Ministerial Association and City of Saratoga to build community and celebrate the diversity of Saratoga with light—a symbol of hope, joy, and faith across cultures.

Apply to Serve on a City Commission

The City is looking for Saratoga residents to serve on the Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Traffic Safety Commission. Community Caroling Event

Saratoga Federated Church will host a free, family-friendly caroling event on Saturday, December 10 at 6:00 p.m. in their parking lot, 20390 Park Place. Enjoy live music, cocoa, snow, and lights!
