A flood watch has been issued for the entire Bay Area from late Friday through Monday afternoon as storms move through the area this weekend. Soils remain saturated, so flooding concerns continue. There will also be dangerous surf conditions along the coast through Saturday. Stay safe! Follow the tips below and visit www.PrepareSCC.org/Flood for more information and updates.

If you need sandbags, a free 24-hour station is available outside of the City’s Corporation Yard at 19700 Allendale Avenue. Bags, sand, sandbag fillers, and shovels are available. There is a 25-bag limit per household.
Do not walk, swim, or drive through flooded areas. Six inches of water will reach the bottom of most passenger cars causing loss of control and possible stalling. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize flood dangers.
