State Route 9 Closure
The California Department of Transportation will fully close Highway 9/Big Basin Road at Sanborn Road from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each night from July 7 through July 11. These overnight closures are needed so that crews can safely continue installing sections of the temporary bridge for the Saratoga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project. Motorists are advised to expect delays, allow extra time, and drive safely through the work zone. Learn more about the Saratoga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project and traffic impacts.

Paint the City Voting Results
The Paint the City results are in! Earlier this year, Saratoga artists aged 10 and older were invited to submit conceptual artwork to transform 3 utility box locations in Saratoga into works of art. The community then selected their favorite designs at each location. Artwork was approved by Council earlier this month. Painting is expected to occur in the summer or fall. Winning artwork can be viewed on the City website at www.saratoga.ca.us/paintthecity
